- A PMU device is used for Lip Blushing.
- A numbing cream is applied to the lips at the beginning for 20 minutes.
- Next, the lip is pierced in many small dots and the color opacity is built and the pigment is imparted into it using small needles. Some pain is also involved during lip blushing as with other cosmetic tattoo procedures. Moreover, this session takes approximately 3 hours or so.
What are the after-care instructions for Lip Blushing?
- Hot, spicy, and salty foods should be avoided as they can cause irritation.
- Smoking, using hard dental products, and alcohol consumption should be avoided as well.
- Scratching of lips should be avoided as they lead to irritation and loss of pigment.
- Cosmetic products should never be put on during the healing phase.
- Refrain from other cosmetic activities during the healing phase.
- Avoid taking medications that cause thinning of blood such as Aspirin, Ibruphoen, etc.
